Zenota wrote Divo's checklist
Mid-doubt about over-polishing the launch, Juan cites his own data: Zenota shipped with just a login and the product, and its feedback, no trust without a landing page, not intuitive without a guide, is exactly the list Divo is grinding through.
// trace: where this idea came from
Videos, animations, traced SVGs, payment pages with personality, is any of it necessary?
The answer he gives himself is the entry, because it isn’t a pep talk, it’s a citation: “lo estamos haciendo muy completo porque según lo que vi con el último producto que hice” ▸ 17:13. Zenota shipped with basically a login and the product. And its feedback, the painful harvest that once prompted seed 23-1’s “¿para qué hice esto?”, sorted into two piles ▸ 17:25: people who didn’t use it because “no me da mucha confianza en los productos que no tienen una landing page”, and people who opened it, didn’t understand it, and closed it.
"no landing page, no trust" → the full landing with demo videos
"opened it, didn't get it" → the how-it-works GIFs and copy
el feedback del producto anterior es el spec del siguiente →
There’s supporting evidence within arm’s reach too: Julia, trying to place text in Divo, couldn’t figure it out, and Juan concedes the point with the builder’s eternal blind spot named exactly, “es intuitivo para mí porque yo lo estoy haciendo” ▸ 18:02.
The teaching is what separates this launch from the last one. A first launch runs on guesses; a second launch gets to run on the first one’s autopsy. But only if the autopsy was written down, and only if, mid-grind, you resist calling your own evidence “complicating things”. The polish isn’t perfectionism this time. It’s a checklist with receipts…
