The coach flinched at the hackathon
First official REAPRA coaching session, and mentioning the Shipaton lands badly: she reads it as more scattered ideas instead of deeper principles, more attachment to technology, and his counter-boundary is the entry's spine: three months of introspection cannot mean pausing his life.

- ↳ video diary @ 5:02 (no le gustó la jacatón)
- ↳ video diary @ 7:25 (no puedo dejar de hacer nada)
- ↳ Seed 117-1: Ver los sistemas por fuera (el borrador de uniqueness del documento)
The morning goes to the REAPRA homework document, childhood questions down to “¿cómo era el ambiente cuando tú naciste?” ▸ 2:43, present-day biases (he answers Taoism and Stoicism, the two philosophies he steers by ▸ 3:25), and a uniqueness draft about seeing systems from outside that he admits he couldn’t fully grab ▸ 4:00. Then the first official coaching session, and the friction the diary has been waiting for: he mentions the Shipaton, and it doesn’t land, “se le notó un poquito así como de rabia” ▸ 5:02.
Her reading, as he reconstructs it: he’s still running on a pile of ideas instead of practicing deeper principles ▸ 5:43, still attached to technology, when the post-introspection destination is a boring company with almost none ▸ 5:57, and a hackathon smells of venture capital, the normal way of doing business the method exists to reject ▸ 6:55. Julia pokes the premise: needing a phone to make a sale is already technology ▸ 6:09, and the process itself will run on Google Sheets and Gmail ▸ 6:27.
comprométete con el método, no con la parálisis →
His position holds both truths without flinching: he chose this, he’d do whatever the method asks because it’s a method they’ve tested ▸ 8:15, and, the boundary he’s saving for the next conversation, “van a ser 3 meses, posiblemente seis… simplemente no puedo dejar de hacer nada” ▸ 7:25. Julia names the fairness problem outright: “si ellos pretenden que tú pares tu vida” ▸ 7:19. The session’s best moment is the inversion at the end: asked whether she uses AI, the coach says sometimes, for philosophical concepts, and the student ends up recommending NotebookLM for the phenomenology reading she assigned him ▸ 10:17. The mentee can owe the method everything and still teach the mentor a tool…
