Mockup the feeling first
The graph app's design day: let the AI interpret the whiteboard photo before hearing the vision, hunt for a hook because node apps exist by the million, and generate mockups until Voronoi bubbles appear, the north star found by image search.

The knowledge-graph app’s real construction begins, and the day is a manual of pre-code design moves.
Move one: withhold your vision. He feeds Gemini the photo of the kitchen whiteboard where the idea was born and asks what it sees, before explaining anything: “me gusta darle mi visión [después], porque si no, la vaina ya va a tener el sesgo… se va a volver un loro y va a repetir lo que uno es” ▸ 32:26. The unbiased read returns ideas he hadn’t had, including A/B/C-style tap-answers for calibrating a learner’s level.
Move two: demand a hook. The sober audit: “aplicaciones así de nodos, yo he visto millones… no tiene esa cosa que diga ‘voy a intentar esto solamente porque se ve diferente’” ▸ 34:24. Their portfolio’s memorability lives in visual identity (Julia’s logos get a proud tour; Gemini’s own logo, “una porquería”), so this time the process starts neither from logo nor name but from the screen itself.
Move three: generate until it appears. An afternoon of image generation, Behance references piped in as style anchors, outputs sorted left (no) and right (yes), until a pattern stops him: irregular honeycombs, Voronoi, “cómo se organizan las burbujas en el agua” ▸ 40:41, cells that grow when a concept matters and crowd when it doesn’t, alive where hexagons are rigid. Bonus vision: your study session becomes “un patrimonio que puedes compartir”, a shareable artwork of what you know ▸ 40:12.

The payoff is stated as method: “cuando uno ve el producto final, uno tiene una idea mucho más clara de qué es lo que hay que hacer” ▸ 42:51, generated mockups as a north star that costs an afternoon instead of a sprint. Then the r/IndieGame meme grants permission for the gap between vision and tonight’s ugly prototype: just make it exist, you can make it good later ▸ 46:40…
