The EWOR application needs a sub-90-second video pitch, so tonight is rehearsal, and the first approach fails exactly the way entry 68-1’s field notes predicted: “memorizar todo no funciona, o sea, no fluyo. Parezco un robot” ▸ 19:06. A script turns attention inward, onto recall, and the listener can hear the difference between someone talking to them and someone reading a teleprompter that isn’t there.

The fix arrives twice, which is the entry’s comedy and its second lesson: “Julia me dijo que utilizara bullet points. No le hice caso. Le pregunté a Gemini, Gemini también me dijo lo mismo, y me puso los bullets de una vez” ▸ 19:12. The structure, four beats to hold in mind, not memorize ▸ 19:43:

The live on-camera attempt maps his material onto it: four years of gym consistency as the hook; four apps in three months as proof, plus the earned scar, speed and good products aren’t enough without a go-to-market strategy; Picky growing from menus into an operating system for restaurants as vision; and the ask in one image: “nosotros ya tenemos el motor, pero necesitamos esto último para hacer nuestro cohete volar” ▸ 21:33. Rough, stumbling, and already more alive than the memorized version.

Julia’s closing summary is the keeper: don’t memorize, hold the topics in mind, speak naturally ▸ 24:26. The catalog’s own aphorism for this day says it in one line: the natural pitch flows like a river; the memorized one is a dammed-up reservoir…

Postscript, next morning: the honest synthesis. Bullets alone came out “muy básico, sin el vocabulario adecuado”, so key phrases got memorized after all, inside the bullet skeleton, through hours of reps ▸ 1:40. The river flows naturally only between rehearsed banks.
