The AI said the CV was obsolete
Gemini gets the whole last year, posts, projects, philosophy, plus the old corporate résumé, and rules that the year of building is ten times more valuable: job titles he didn't know existed, portfolio over résumé, DMs over applications, and a 0-to-1 identity.

The job search begins with an unusual first interview: Gemini as career analyst. Juan pastes in the whole last year, LinkedIn posts, Reddit posts, the four shipped apps, even the Taoism and the travel plans, and then, in a second branch of the chat, adds his old corporate CV, Coupa Solutions Architect and all ▸ 16:57. The model’s ruling gives the video its title: the old résumé reads obsolete; “tu experiencia en el último año es 10 veces más valiosa” ▸ 17:41. The year that produced zero revenue appraises at ten times the years that produced salary.
The analysis names his shape, sees a problem, forms a novel solution, ships a working MVP fast, the bridge between abstract ideas and tangible product ▸ 18:21, and then does something a mirror can’t: it names markets he didn’t know existed.

Founder in Residence lands hardest: paid to explore ideas, with resources and network, minus the fundraising pressure, “eso es lo que estoy necesitando ahora” ▸ 20:21. The tactics follow: build a portfolio, not a résumé, a simple site, possibly made with Divo ▸ 22:31; and don’t apply to postings, DM the people already holding these jobs with a personal note and the portfolio link ▸ 23:43, the Cluely CEO publicly hiring a 15-year-old fan as proof the side door opens ▸ 24:42.
el año sin sueldo es el activo; el CV viejo es el pasivo →
Two rulings stay with him. The motivator: impact and legacy, which “rules out jobs optimizing one small part of the big machine, you need to be close to the mission” ▸ 28:43. And the division of labor, delivered like a prescription: “usted es bueno en la parte del 0 a 1; el resto, búsquese a alguien que se lo haga” ▸ 30:41. The diary’s whole year, condensed by a machine into a job description that didn’t exist when the year began…
