Posted at night to dead silence, the layout tool woke up to upvotes, DMs, and a comment invoking Lovable's $200M. One Reddit post did what two months of building couldn't.

Last night the layout editor went up on r/SideProject with a sped-up two-second demo, and died: nothing, muertísimo ▸ 27:26. This morning: ~50 upvotes climbing toward 200, a wall of comments, five private messages asking for the link ▸ 27:38.

Two comments deserve the archive. One named the market: “Lovable raised $200 million. With the right landing page and a few examples, you can raise millions” ▸ 27:54. The other named the product better than its own maker had: you hit the main pain point, letting designers create two completely separate layouts (desktop and mobile) without diving into CSS ▸ 28:12. When someone raised Elementor, the commenters dismissed it: “Elementor is for dinosaur WordPress sites” ▸ 30:33. The market defended the differentiation unprompted.

The validation logic, stated cleanly: I searched for a tool that did this and found none, so I built it, and people want it, so apparently I’m not reinventing anything ▸ 29:57. That’s entry 40-1’s accident and entry 38-1’s instinct, jointly acquitted by strangers.

And it answers yesterday. Entry 43-1 diagnosed the company’s gap as exposure, not product. Twelve hours later, one free Reddit post generated more demand signal than two months of building: showing the thing is the marketing. Decision on camera: hay que sacarlo, sí o sí, simplified first, a paid pro tier later, maybe AI on top ▸ 28:48. It needs a name; Julia’s on it, let her cook. The diary notes, for honesty’s sake, that virality is attention, not revenue, the zero is still zero. But for the first time, strangers are asking to pay for something we made before we asked them anything…
