The godfather's offer
Jorge stops routing clients and puts money on the table: his old logistics idea, their hands, his sponsorship. Opposites with complementary inventories.

The meeting with Jorge finally happened, and twenty minutes in he steered it somewhere new: an idea of his own. Years ago he ran a delivery business, university diplomas, good margins, and had to stop it because the logistics outgrew manual management, they needed an algorithm they couldn’t build ▸ 8:57. We can build exactly that. So the offer: he can’t be legal representative of yet another company, but he can be the sponsor: “you tell me what you need, a lawyer, four million, ten million, we review it, and I put the money” ▸ 10:53.
The honest print, stated by him and appreciated for its clarity: the money is strictly for the project, not for salaries; everyone earns when shipments flow, him included ▸ 11:31.
él tiene plata sin tiempo; nosotros tiempo sin plata →
The structural read matters more than the excitement: this is a trade between perfectly complementary inventories. He has money, ideas, contacts, and no time. We have time, skills, hunger, and, said without shame, nothing to lose, “estamos en el piso” ▸ 12:21. Los opuestos. Deals like this exist precisely at that intersection, which is why they rarely appear until one side has publicly run out of runway.
Two more pieces of Jorge worth archiving. His pricing correction for Picky: forget freemium patience, what you need right now is cash flow, any income serves you enormously ▸ 15:19. And his stated motive for moving now, which Julia caught: he sees how close we are, and he knows that the longer the zero lasts, the more we’ll think about going back to jobs ▸ 16:06. A godfather who understands the pains. Nothing signed, meeting Friday; the diary holds its breath in writing…
