We achieved the unachievable: Julia is addicted to vibe coding ▸ 0:28. Her training project is a site for falafel say less, her future falafel business, built in Cline with GitHub for versioning, styled “juguetón, urbano” because that’s her ▸ 10:30.

The team-architecture reason this matters more than one new skill: until now, the company’s design pipeline was Julia’s head, to Carlos’s head, to code, and every hop leaked. Carlos builds what he understood, Julia meant something else, feedback waits on chat, a month passes and the company site still isn’t right. Now it’s Julia’s head to code: the intermediary is eliminated and the loop collapses to minutes ▸ 19:40. Carlos gets released from the site he was tired of ▸ 18:41, and the company now counts three people who can program ▸ 19:20.

Her curriculum includes the lesson every prompt-writer meets: things obvious in your head are not obvious in your instructions. The reference is the famous video of a dad making sandwiches exactly as his kids’ written instructions say, butter side landing wherever the ambiguity allows ▸ 16:32. When the AI does something absurd, the mature diagnosis is usually the problem isn’t the AI, it’s your prompt, a contradiction or a gap you didn’t notice writing ▸ 17:20.

There’s also a designer-specific payoff: now she feels, in her own hands, that a two-click color change in Canva can be a four-file change in code ▸ 20:56. Designers who have programmed design differently: they know which details are free and which cost an afternoon, and they choose accordingly…
