Websites for LLMs, not humans
ChatGPT Atlas ships and he shrugs, then argues past it: the agentic browser clicking through today's ugly pages is a stopgap. The real future is websites rebuilt for the model to read, the visual layer stripped away, a government form reduced to a chat that just does it.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Atlas launches, and his review is deflationary: it’s a browser with an agent inside, tell it “cómpreme tiquetes” and it clicks around ▸ 0:57, not innovative, Perplexity’s Comet did it months earlier, “OpenAI se ha vuelto el Apple de las IAs” ▸ 1:55. But the shrug sets up the thesis he floated in the group chat: “¿en un futuro las páginas serán hechas para los LLMs y no para humanos?” ▸ 21:41.
The argument is grounded in a real cost. When your decision needs no visuals, a standardized bolt of a given size and material, the model just needs to read the spec and execute, input-output, no page required ▸ 23:35. And the reason the current web fights the model is the context window: every style, every “this page is yellow, Arial 12,” every element’s XY position floods the window with tokens the user never wanted ▸ 24:47. His anti-example is the DIAN tax portal, a wall of unlabeled boxes where “micrositio” appears three times and none of them look like buttons ▸ 26:40, a page so bad he needs a ChatGPT tutorial every two months to file zeros ▸ 28:26.
el sitio web del futuro es un prompt de 50 páginas y un chat que dice “¿qué deseas hacer?” →
Where he lands is the sharper version of the phone-agent idea: agentic browsers are the phone tree, clicking through menus a human shouldn’t have to. The real solution is to collapse the tree, hand the model every leaf, form-name and hyperlink, and let the site become a chat, “¿qué deseas hacer? quiero declarar mi renta”, and the icon appears ▸ 31:47, “no UI is best UI” ▸ 32:52. Which makes the new browsers “un poquito useless” against the endgame ▸ 33:00, useful now for the manual pages that exist, obsolete once pages are built as a 50-page prompt the model reads instead of a layout the human squints at…
